Villa Marena — Mediterranian Coast
Project Description
Villa Marena is a concept visualization set on the island of Evia, Greece's second-largest island, roughly 45 minutes from Athens along the Aegean coast. The design reimagines a low-slung, single-story beachfront retreat — whitewashed volumes, deep shaded loggias, and stone terraces that step down toward a secluded cove, with five bedrooms arranged around a central pool that mirrors the sea just beyond it. Rather than the glossy, glass-walled resort villa that's become shorthand for Mediterranean luxury, this concept stays grounded in the materials of the Greek islands — rough lime plaster, timber pergolas, worn local stone paving — paired with quiet, uncluttered interiors that let the light and the water do the work. The result is a property that feels less like a hotel and more like a house that has always belonged to this coastline.
