Villa Costa Brava — Spain

Alt Empordà, Girona, Spain (Costa Brava region)

Project Description

Villa Costa Brava is an EHi2 concept visualization set in the rolling countryside of the Alt Empordà, inland from Spain's Costa Brava coastline. The concept reimagines a 16th-century Catalan masía — a traditional stone farmhouse — restored with a quiet, contemporary sensibility: exposed timber beams, thick original stone walls, and a sun-washed interior courtyard opening onto a saltwater pool and manicured lawn.

Rather than the glass-and-infinity-pool cliché of Mediterranean luxury, this concept leans into the region's rural architectural heritage — deep window reveals, wooden shutters, terracotta floors — paired with understated modern furnishings that let the building's history stay visible.
